In December 2007 Jerome graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering with magna cum laude honors.  Prior to going to school, he worked in Anguilla in the Information Technology field with Weblinks for one year and then with the Government of Anguilla for another year.

During college he took up a few internships, one of which was at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.  While there, he had the opportunity to work with a team of sixty engineers and scientists on the Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter (LOLA) which was to be launched into space.  He later did a work study at Jaros Baum and Bolles a long standing M.E.P firm in New York City.  There he worked on several commercial projects such as Bahamar Hotel, Bank of America and the new World Trade Center to name a few.  He also ,had the opportunity to learn AutoCAD.  Working at JB&B opened his interest to the construction sector. He later went on to work for AKF Engineers another M.E.P firm where he worked for several years.  There,  he worked on many commericial projects including JP Morgan Chase new corporate head quarters, Bank of New York, Museum of Modern Art and Rockefeller Center to name a few.  He quickly learned the trade and started managing projects on his own.

The economy then started to take a turn for the worst and I was fortunate to survive four of the company layoffs.  He then resigned there and decided to come back to Anguilla to contribute to the  development of his country in some way.  One of the ways he sought to do this was by contributing to its sustainability by opening a commercial farm (Island Greens) which produced a healthful assortment of vegetables. During his time here, he also completed some construction documents in collaboration with the local architects.  His most recent local project is the Anguilla Community College, where he completed the Mechanical and Electrical Designs.  He has now partnered with Mark Jno-Baptiste, a structural engineer, and together they offer the full range of construction documents with an emphasis on bringing the construction industry up to international standards.  They are offering Construction Estimates, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering Designs.  They use international codes for all of the engineering services that they offer and are happy to assist you in preparing your construction documents. They will ensure that your structure will stand the test of time while making efficient use of materials, energy and most importantly your finances.
